Dr. Stephen D. Bosonac
A graduate of Linden High School, he attended the University
of Iowa for his undergraduate studies. In 1968 he was an honor
graduate of Temple University Dental School. Following graduation
from dental school, he served two years as a Captain in the
Army Dental Corps at Fort Hood Texas where he completed a
general practice residency at Darnal Army Hospital. After
completing his military service he attended Columbia University
School of Orthodontics where he completed a two-year post-graduate
residency in the specialty of orthodontics. Dr. Stephen Bosonac
has been in the practice of orthodontics and dento-facial
orthopedics since 1972 in Clark.
Dr. Stephen Bosonac is active in many professional organizations
including the American Association of Orthodontics, American
Dental Association, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontics
and past President of Union County Dental Society. He is an
active member in the Tri-State Orthodontic Study Group which
he is a founding member. The study group meets regularly and
Dr. Bosonac is responsible for inviting International Lecturers,
which provide the group with the most current concepts in
orthodontic education. He is a Certified Invisalign provider.
His love and passion for orthodontics brings him great joy
and pride in the creation of beautiful smiles. This has led
him to pursue excellence in orthodontics through early intervention
and non-extraction therapy for the last 25 years.
Dr. Stephen Bosonac has been married to his lovely wife Barbara
for 35 years. They have three sons: Craig, Brian and Brad
and an 8-year-old Bichon Frise “Spanky”. Craig
currently resides in Florida and is a partner in a real estate
enterprise. Dr. Brian Bosonac is a practicing orthodontist
with his dad. Brad is a recent graduate of the University
of Miami and is a professional magician. He will be pursuing
his love of entertainment. Dr. Stephen Bosonac can be “heard”
cheering on his favorite teams with his sons.
Dr. Stephen Bosonac has been setting the highest standards
of orthodontics care in Union County for over 30 years and
was thrilled to have his son Brian choose to join him in this
family tradition.
